SchooLab Day at Mines Saint-Étienne: 2nd edition
The event was dedicated to the presentation of science projects completed by students and featured fascinating talks by PhD students. On May 16, 400 middle and high school students from the Loire region were welcomed to the school as part of the SchooLab 2019 operation led by La Rotonde and supported by the EDF Group Foundation and the Loire Department.
Their work covered various scientific subjects: connected beehive sensors, “Science, Health and Addiction,” digital technology and Artificial Intelligence, energies of the future, geosciences, etc.








A day rich in knowledge sharing, interspersed with talks by young PhD candidates from Saint-Étienne in the format “My thesis in 180 seconds”. Students from Jean Monnet University also presented their work to the pupils on the themes of fun physics, electronics, new technologies, and scientific music.
