For over 15 years, the Ingénieuses competition has highlighted inspiring journeys, innovative projects, and concrete commitments led by female engineering students and women engineers in practice, to make engineering more inclusive, attractive, and accessible to all.

For over 15 years, CDEFI (Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools) has organized this competition to promote gender diversity in science and engineering.
The objective of Ingénieuses is to combat gender inequalities in science and technology.

Today, more than 40% of female students report having been discouraged from pursuing these fields, while 96% of female engineering students say they are satisfied with their studies.
A gap that is still too prevalent and must be addressed by encouraging young women to consider a career in engineering.

Transforming perceptions means inspiring future generations of engineers.

The competition winners will benefit from national visibility, financial support, and privileged access to the network of ambassadors for the initiative.
