The entrepreneurial warm-up to get moving!

Integrated into the first-year curriculum at Mines Saint-Étienne (ISMIN program), the Warm’Up Entrepreneurship is an “entrepreneurial warm-up” designed by faculty researchers and entrepreneurs to introduce students to the challenges of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and collective action.

Inspired by active and collaborative pedagogies, this program raises awareness among future engineers about the entrepreneurial spirit, far beyond business creation. Through an immersive and interactive approach, participants explore the mechanisms of problem-solving, iteration, and taking action, without prerequisites or restrictive frameworks.

This exploratory phase allows students to discover the key stages of a project and understand their interactions, while developing their adaptability, creativity, and ability to build teams. Working in groups, they experience a playful and reflective approach where each challenge becomes an opportunity to learn how to test, adjust, and persevere.

The objective: to demystify entrepreneurship and bring to light the aspirations, ideas, and projects that students may have in mind, whether it be a technological innovation, an associative project, or a professional venture.

The Warm’Up Entrepreneurship is an introduction to the entrepreneurial mindset. By stimulating initiative and collaboration, this warm-up encourages everyone to identify their levers for action and engage with confidence in ambitious projects. A first step toward cultivating a proactive stance and preparing for tomorrow’s challenges.
