Joining Mines Saint-Étienne means choosing a high-level public engineering school, open to all talents.

The ISMIN program takes place on the Aix-Marseille-Provence campus in Gardanne, within the Institut Mines-Télécom, ensuring access to cutting-edge educational, scientific, and technological resources.

In addition to these tuition charges, a contribution to integration activities, student mutual insurance, personal insurance (variable amount depending on coverage level), and the student and campus life contribution (CVEC) must be added.

💡 Life in Gardanne, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille remains more affordable than in major French cities. The cost of living there is estimated to be 20 to 25% lower than in Paris.

Needs-based scholarships (CROUS)

Awarded by the State based on family income and personal situation.
They also grant full tuition fee exemption and additional benefits (housing priority, reduced-price catering, etc.).

Scholarships and Aid from the Mines-Télécom Foundation

The Mines Saint-Étienne Foundation supports students each year through:

• des needs-based scholarships,
• des excellence scholarships,
• and ad hoc aid to finance an internship, a project, or international mobility.

This aid is awarded based on application, in addition to public schemes.

International Mobility Aid

Additional scholarships (Erasmus+, Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Fondation Mines Saint-Étienne) can fund:

International students enrolled in the ISMIN program may, depending on their situation, benefit from:

• Eiffel Excellence Scholarships (Master of Science in Engineering level),
