Together, let's work to improve our ecosystems
The Mines Saint-Étienne SD DD&RSE master plan is integrated into the Institution’s co-constructed 2023-2027 strategy, which positions Ecological Transition as a common and cross-cutting foundation for all its activities.
It was developed based on the work and actions carried out as part of the institution’s DDRS certification (first certified in 2017) and incorporates, among others, the various action plans already established by Mines Saint-Étienne (mobility plan, diversity plan, carbon footprint, energy sobriety plan, etc.).
The master plan consists of 17 fact sheets grouped into five areas corresponding to the structure of the DDRS label. All proposed actions and objectives cover issues of governance, education, research, environmental management of campuses, and social policy. These actions are all linked to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) developed by the UN and incorporate the school’s 10 strategic orientation sheets.
This first master plan is a voluntary initiative by Mines Saint-Étienne, which once again demonstrates its capacity to be a responsible engineering school, a driver of innovations with societal impact.
