Digital Twins

The very first organizational digital twin of a hospital was developed by Mines Saint-Étienne in collaboration with the Saint-Étienne University Hospital. This IT tool allows for real-time monitoring of department activity (patient pathways, healthcare staff activities, etc.), forecasting activity over the coming hours or days through simulation and artificial intelligence, and suggesting decisions to healthcare professionals to optimize department organization.
