Biography

I come from Lorraine (North East of France). After graduating, in 1992, I taught adults in integration curricula. Later, in the agro-industrial sector, I managed a team 10 people and was in charge of Human Resources. In 1999, I moved in Saint-Etienne and was hired by Ecole des Mines. Since that time, I have been a valued asset and concerned with the industrial placement of our students. This no small annual task, during the 3 years of the engineering curriculum (≈ 150 students for every school year) their education is cooperative. In other words, they have an obligation to find appropriate employment for part of each year in industry or academia. Since 2006, I have gradually shifted towards student preparation and providing pertinent support in their search for internships. As such, I act the interface between students, companies, teachers, and administration (internship offers, validation, and distribution)
My organizational aptitude comes into play when I plan and supervise the oral presentations summing up what they have learned by their work experience for both 1st and 2nd year students. I am completely in charge of the internship process for 1st year students.
