This question will be at the heart of the day event organised on January 28, 2020, with the support of IMT schools and partners. It aims to foster reflection and discussion between researchers and sector stakeholders. The call for participation is open.

“The social and health and social care sector has undergone very many changes since its initial definitions in the 1970s. Specific structures were created for the social or health and social care provision for children under Child Welfare Services, children and adults with disabilities, and older people, in addition to home support services, medicalised residential care homes, and supported living arrangements for adults with disabilities” (…)

“Networking information, transmitting files, delivering individualised support, monitoring movements, and work organisation are among the elements that have been significantly affected and to which the sector must adapt”.

Around these challenges, and the integration of technologies as a lever for social innovation, the day event will examine the impacts of digital technologies through two main areas:

  • work organisation and working conditions
  • the organisation and implementation of the care pathway approach

This conference will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Mines ParisTech.
