Hugo Lafosse, Louis Bres, and Aurélien Portier, currently on a gap year, will undertake a humanitarian trip to facilitate access to sports for children in South America. The trio’s departure is scheduled for April 2024.

They are young, motivated, and athletic.

Hugo Lafosse, Louis Bres, and Aurélien Portier, president, treasurer, and secretary respectively of the association “Un Ballon pour Sourire,” are actively preparing a several-month humanitarian stay in South America.

Their objective: to encourage and help underprivileged children engage in regular physical activity.

Our initiative will consist of providing sports equipment and organizing training workshops for children in these regions, particularly within remote communities. The goal is to enable educational and sports continuity after our departure in the communities we visit.

Hugo Lafosse, President of the Association

The sports equipment and materials come from donations by sports clubs and federations.

They will be shipped by air three months before the adventure begins and then delivered directly to the beneficiaries by the three association members.

Touch rugby, volleyball, soccer, ultimate, and badminton will be the first activities offered.

To finance this project, the three students are relying on personal financial resources and on funds raised through a crowdfunding campaign on the Leetchi platform. (https://www.leetchi.com/fr/c/education-sportive-pour-tous–un-ballon-pour-sourire-5026540)
