The ISMIN Class of 2022 graduated on Saturday, November 29, 2025, on the Aix-Marseille-Provence campus. A ceremony filled with encouragement, pride, and hope for the future.

Out of 99 graduates, 71 were present to receive their diplomas from Jacques Fayolle. The director highlighted the prestige of the dual specialization in computer science and microelectronics offered by the ISMIN program. For him, these young graduates are “those who innovate even when it’s said to be impossible.”

This class, with diverse profiles (from preparatory classes, admitted on qualifications, or international students), had chosen two representatives: Liam Lotte and Noé Backert. Two young men with inspiring and unifying speeches. They particularly emphasized the importance of dialogue between students and the School, favoring exchanges to reach common ground.

Benjamin Massis, Head of Training, highlighted their perseverance and solidarity. He reminded them that the sleepless nights spent working and coding were not in vain (nor were those spent celebrating) and that one must persist in the face of doubt and bugs.

“A bug is not a failure; it’s just a feature we haven’t understood yet.”

The graduates paraded one by one under the spotlights and the photographer’s lens. They gave the floor to their teacher François Jaujard, who shared the stage with emotion. Soon to retire, this is also his last year on the Aix-Marseille-Provence Campus.

Olivier Cazzulo, class sponsor, founder and president of Netsystem (a company specializing in digital transformation consulting) was also thanked for his support. The School Director presented him with the famous miner’s lamp, symbol of Mines Saint-Étienne. His sponsorship strengthens our connection with the professional world and opens promising prospects for the new graduates.

After the ceremony, music brought students and staff together for a moment of celebration.

A big congratulations to this year’s engineering graduates for their hard work, solidarity, and future successes! We thank all the staff who were involved with the students for 3 years and committed to this graduation ceremony.
