Alexandre Rochatte, the current representative of the State in the Loire department, honored us with his visit on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
Welcomed by Jacques Fayolle, Director of Mines Saint-Étienne, and David Fara, Secretary-General, the Prefect began the day with a guided tour of the Engineering and Health Center (CIS) in Saint-Priest-en-Jarez.
Alexandre Rochatte then proceeded to the Henri Fayol Institute, at the Fauriel campus, before heading to La Rotonde, the scientific culture center integrated into the School.
The morning continued with a discovery of the Centre for Chemical Engineering (SPIN) and the Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering (SMS) center, accompanied by their respective directors.
A privileged exchange with Jacques Fayolle concluded this first visit by the Prefect to our premises since he took office in February 2023.
