The young innovative company, recently incubated on the Saint-Étienne campus, is led by two engineers with complementary profiles: Félix Balmonet and Glenn Avezoux.
The main product offered by Chat3D is a web application (directly accessible from an internet browser) that allows the creation of 3D models in a few clicks. After opening an account, users can easily generate 3D models from prompts or images.
The application offers flexible pricing adapted to the needs of its users. It is primarily used by video game and animation studios in North America and Europe.
The two co-founders met three years ago. They quickly combined their skills to embark on an entrepreneurial journey together. Before Chat3D, they had already collaborated within a startup dedicated to the design of machine tools. This experience allowed them to build a common vision of entrepreneurship which is reflected today in Chat3D’s success.
“We see numerous collaboration opportunities with the School, particularly around research areas related to our activities. We are currently exploring fields such as natural language processing and computer graphics, with a strong interest in technologies like neural radiance fields and Gaussian splattings. “
