Supported by FUB and backed by ADEME, the Pro-Bike Employer certification recognizes private, public, and associative organizations that implement concrete actions to encourage cycling.

Following a support program and an audit conducted in early December 2024, based on specifications comprising 5 themes (governance and strategy, communication and engagement, services, safety, and equipment), the Aix-Marseille-Provence Campus obtained its silver level certification.

To do so, it met 60% of the specifications’ criteria in addition to the 8 mandatory criteria.

This result recognizes the work carried out by the teams at the Gardanne site to positively impact the well-being of its employees and the environment.

Installation of bike parking, lockers, implementation of the Sustainable Mobility Package, numerous actions are being undertaken to encourage bicycle use by individuals on site and thus reduce their environmental impact.

Promoting cycling among all its employees, students, and partners has always been a priority for Mines Saint-Étienne.

A year ago, the School’s historic site located at 158, cours Fauriel, had received the same distinction.
