Forty students from Claude Fauriel High School, in the scientific preparatory program, are taking part in a workshop at Mines Saint-Étienne.

Tuesday, June 27. The atmosphere is studious on the fourth floor of the School’s historic campus.

For three consecutive days, from June 26 to 28, 2023, first-year students in the preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (CPGE) from the MPSI and MPII tracks are developing their image-processing skills using the Python programming language.

The sessions are supervised by physics and computer science teachers, including Yann Gavet, a lecturer at Mines Saint-Étienne, as well as a PhD student.

The results of the work carried out in small groups will be presented on Thursday, June 29 at Claude Fauriel High School.
