The humanitarian association of ICM Credit’s Mines students and alumni is taking part in France’s largest student solidarity challenge, “The Rise“, on November 29 and 30, 2018.
The ISMIN French Robotics Cup 2019 team built the field that will be used to prepare and test the robots of the robotics and electronics association for the 2019 competition.

Credit’s Mines solidarity initiatives

Credit’s Mines works through microcredit and savings to develop entrepreneurship in remote rural areas of Togo.
On November 29 and 30, the association is taking part in The RISE (Revolution Initiated by Students for Entrepreneurship). Over two days, students will run a stand to raise awareness and mobilise Mines Saint-Étienne staff and students: student campuses are competing to collect the maximum amount of funds.
This inter-campus challenge to raise solidarity loans, organised by Babyloan, aims to finance micro-entrepreneurs’ projects.

Preparing the French Robotics Cup for the AREM association

The robotics and electronics association of ISMIN engineering students is preparing for the 2019 competition: in pictures, the French Robotics Cup field built by members of the AREM association, and more specifically the 2018–2019 team: 7 second-year students and more than 15 first-year students:

“The purpose of this field is to prepare our robots in the best possible conditions and test them under real conditions.”

Last year, for its first participation, the team ranked 70th in the competition (out of nearly 200 teams present). The 2019 edition will take place from May 29 to June 1 in La Roche-sur-Yon.
