On September 29, the 4 engineering schools of the Lyon-Saint-Etienne cluster (École Centrale de Lyon, ENTPE, INSA Lyon, and MINES Saint-Etienne) signed a partnership agreement. The objective: to broaden the specialization offerings for final-year students through inter-institutional mobility.

The 4 doctoral engineering schools of the Lyon-Saint-Étienne cluster: École Centrale de Lyon, École nationale des travaux publics de l’État (ENTPE), Institut national des sciences appliquées de Lyon (INSA), and Mines Saint-Étienne have taken a further step in their partnership. The signing of an agreement on September 29, 2022, opening up the possibility of cross-training pathways for students, is one of the building blocks of this partnership.
This is a first in France between schools from the same cluster and under the supervision of three different ministries.

The directors of the 4 schools sign the agreement at the premises of the University of Lyon.
