“Engaging and motivating audiences”
On December 2, the School hosted the regional academic seminar on the theme “Engaging and motivating students through the gamification of learning,” organized in partnership with La Rotonde, the Academy of Lyon, the Academic Delegation for Digital Education, Canopé Lyon, the LIRIS, and the French Institute of Education.
160 professionals were welcomed to discuss this theme during this meeting opened by Samy Kefi Jérome, Vice-President of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region and Deputy Mayor of Saint-Étienne in charge of education.

Scientific Mediation: The Creation of Statistical Models
On November 27 and 28, the Oquaido Chair in Applied Mathematics (Optimization and QUantification of Uncertainty for Expensive Data) celebrated its 4th anniversary. During a round table discussion moderated by La Rotonde, Olivier Roustant, head of this chair, presented the results of a study conducted in collaboration with the CEA.
