Annual Meeting of La main à la pâte Pilot Centers, inauguration of the IOTA escape game: collective and collaborative experiences in service of science education.
The La main à la pâte Pilot Centers Network
The School was pleased to host on November 13, 14, and 15 at its Georges Charpak Provence Campus the 17th Annual Meeting of La main à la pâte Pilot Centers organized in partnership with the Aix-Marseille Academy, the La main à la pâte Foundation, and the City of Gardanne.
More than 150 participants attended this year’s opening symposium on the subject of cognition and learning. These meetings provide an opportunity to define network working themes and organize a symposium addressing a pressing issue in science education.
Lectures, workshops, exchanges, and testimonials punctuated these enriching days, which allow for the presentation of projects and the sharing of practices.
Philippe Lalevée, Campus Director, opened these sessions, which were attended by several members of the Rotonde team.
The Pilot Centers develop original and innovative programmes in service of teachers and their classes. La Rotonde is designated as a La Main à la Pâte Pilot Center for the Loire department. Following the European Pollen and Fibonacci projects, it has developed kits, modules, and training programmes to support teachers in science education through the ASTEP support programme.
