Many of you visited the historic Mines Saint-Étienne campus located at 158 Cours Fauriel during this exceptional opening of the school to the public.

Students, alumni, or simply curious visitors—hundreds of you walked through the school’s imposing gates on Saturday, September 28, during the open house.

To discover or rediscover the institution, its programs of excellence, its teaching and research centers, its laboratories, its science outreach center (La Rotonde), and its magnificent tree-filled park, numerous interactive workshops and lectures were organized throughout the day.

From 10 AM to 5 PM, without interruption, it was possible to engage informally with faculty researchers, enter the main rooms of the institution, and admire certain rare specimens from our mineral collection.

This strong turnout reflects the growing interest and curiosity that our responsible engineering school—a driver of innovations with societal impact—generates among a broad audience.

The last open house organized in Saint-Étienne took place in 2016.
