Nine staff members were decorated with the Order of Academic Palms at the end of November. It recognizes their services to the School in research, teaching, and administration.

Pascale Bach (Head of General Affairs and Staff Training Manager), Elisabeth Goutin-Burlat (Outgoing Academic Mobility Coordinator), Philippe Jaillon (Research Faculty in Computer Science and Intelligent Systems), Martine Millot (retired, former Administrative Secretary), Eric Piatyszek (Research Faculty in Environment, City, Society), Jérémie Pourchez (Research Faculty in Health), Jean-Paul Rousserie (Systems and Network Administrator), Alicja Tardy (retired, former Research Engineer), and François Valdivieso (Research Faculty) were all nine decorated with the Order of Academic Palms. They gathered at the School with their colleagues and families for the ceremony. Following the ceremony and the presentation of the medal by the School Director, Jacques Fayolle, a reception was held.

The Order of Academic Palms

This order recognizes personnel of the National Education system (civil servants and state employees belonging to teaching, administrative, or inspection bodies) and individuals who have rendered significant services in the activities of this department. It also honors distinguished individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the enrichment of cultural heritage.
