Approximately 200 staff members and students participated in this charity race to support the fight against breast cancer on Thursday, September 26.

Getting active for a good cause.

Wearing pink T-shirts in the association’s colors, 154 athletes from the Saint-Étienne campus braved the showers and completed an urban loop of 5 or 10 km marked by a passage through Parc de l’Europe, a green space in the city of Saint-Étienne located near the institution.

Their objective: to run together to support the Odysséa association.

After the effort, all participants gathered for refreshments around a substantial snack and a hot beverage offered by the school at Espace Cabane.

There were forty participants in the same spirit of solidarity at this event organized in parallel around the Aix-Marseille-Provence Campus (photo above).

The registrations recorded at our two sites raised €2,476 to help the association founded by the shared commitment of three dedicated women in 2022.

Each year in September, several schools of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) participate in these sporting challenges organized by Odysséa. They are intended to support research against the disease and give hope to women affected by breast cancer.
