In 2023, La Rotonde (science culture center) turns up the volume and launches Ricochets, podcasts in various formats to make science bounce! First episode on the theme of “Environmental Issues and Climate Urgency” available now on all podcast platforms.
Ricochets the show
To make science bounce and allow the circles it forms to expand our knowledge, La Rotonde is launching Ricochets. Podcasts that will invite listeners to understand, question, and debate topics that concern us all in their connections and impacts between science and society.

The first episode was recorded with a live audience on the theme: “Environmental Issues and Climate Urgency.” What priorities for research? What are the roles of researchers? What training for future engineers?
Questions that sparked discussions among the three guests present, researchers from the School:
- Natacha Gondran, teacher-researcher in environmental assessment at the Department of Environmental and Organizational Engineering of the Henri Fayol Institute and sustainable development delegate at Mines Saint-Étienne
- Jean-Michel Herri, professor and director of the SPIN Center (Science of Industrial and Natural Processes) at Mines Saint-Étienne
- Krzysztof Wolski, deputy director of Mines Saint-Étienne, in charge of education programs.
All enhanced by segments prepared and presented by the La Rotonde team.
Episode available on all podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcast, Amazon Music, Google Podcasts, etc.).
