Our institution maintains its position among the top French engineering schools.

Mines Saint-Étienne secures 11th place in this annual benchmark ranking with a score of 86 points out of 119.

This strong result, in line with those achieved over the past two years (10th and 12th places), confirms the excellence of our programs and research across all our campuses.

It also highlights:

  • our commitment to ecological transition
  • our increasing international outreach
  • our strong ties with the business community
  • the successful career placement of our students

A significant recognition of the collective effort that contributes daily to the renown of our School.

This result is a source of great satisfaction and reflects the quality of our education, the richness of our industrial and international partnerships, as well as the support offered to our students throughout their academic journey. The School, as a stakeholder of Institut Mines-Télécom, responds to the will of the State, our supervisory ministry, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Sud Regions, and the Metropolises of Aix-Marseille-Provence and Saint-Étienne to provide more high-level engineers and more research, in support of economic development.

Jacques Fayolle, Director of Mines Saint-Étienne
