This distinction attests to the relevance of the measures implemented to develop safe two-wheeler use on the Saint-Étienne campus.

For the first time, Mines Saint-Étienne has obtained the Pro-Vélo Employer label (Silver level).

This award highlights the actions carried out at 158, cours Fauriel, to encourage cycling.

With a score of 42.5 points out of 66 possible, in addition to the eight mandatory criteria, Mines Saint-Étienne met the main criteria of the specifications drawn up by the French Federation of Bicycle Users (FUB). Governance, communication, services, safety and equipment were the five themes audited to obtain this label.

Today, there are more than twenty staff members who commute to work by bike every day, thirty parking spaces installed on site, and six staff members who have taken a cycling confidence refresher.

This is a genuine recognition of all the work carried out by the Mines Saint-Étienne teams to have a positive impact on the physical and mental well-being of its staff members and in support of the environment.

This certificate is valid for three years, until December 6, 2026.

The Aix-Marseille-Provence Campus has also joined the certification process. It could be awarded the label at the end of 2024.
