Eighty-one staff members from the Saint-Étienne and Gardanne sites took part in a charity race on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Sunshine, light jogging, and high spirits were all part of the event.
In Saint-Étienne, the race began at 11:45 AM in the main courtyard of the historic building.
Wearing pink T-shirts in the association’s colors, these big-hearted athletes completed a 5 km or 10 km urban loop, walking or running, which included a pass through the Parc de l’Europe, one of Saint-Étienne’s green lungs located near the School.
Following this sporting moment of solidarity to support breast cancer research and awareness, a picnic organized in the shade of the trees at the Maison du Parc allowed the courageous participants to recharge their batteries.
At the Provence Campus, 17 people participated on the same day in a similar race around the facility, enjoying a great atmosphere. (photo below)
The commitments across both sites raised nearly 1,500 euros to help the association, which was founded in 2022 through the shared vision of three women.
