Hélène Pangot, Head of Diversity and Student Social Welfare Officer, Julie Blanc, Student Life Officer, and Alexis Ruiz, outgoing president of the BDE ICM, participated in the CPas1Option seminar. This event aims to support higher education institutions in implementing concrete prevention actions against addictive behaviors, risky behaviors, harassment, and sexist and sexual violence.

This visit led to the signing of the CPas1Option charter, which commits our School to improving the living and health conditions of students in Grandes Écoles.
This agreement commits Mines Saint-Étienne to disseminating best practices to other schools and internally to student associations. The presence of Alexis Ruiz involves the BDE ICM in acting for prevention and collective awareness regarding festive activities and addictive behaviors among students.

The CPas1Option charter outlines eight principles, accompanied by implementation indicators and methodological resources to ensure their concrete application in schools:

  • Synergistically associate the management/student associations duo and integrate external prevention stakeholders
  • Train all student life stakeholders
  • Identify risky behaviors and potential dangers
  • Raise awareness among all students and School staff
  • Implement associated tools and mechanisms
  • Identify and react to cases of addiction
  • Combat sexist and sexual violence and act in such cases
  • Continuously improve and sustain the action

We thank Hélène Pangot, Julie Blanc, and Alexis Ruiz for this commitment. Our School is proud to support its staff and students in this effort to combat risky behaviors.
