The signing of an agreement on March 15 in Geneva between Mines Saint-Étienne and the R20 Foundation (Regions of Climate Action) marked the creation of the chair, which focuses on resilience and the fight against climate change in Africa. It will provide support to promote projects dedicated to the green economy, in connection with our specialized training.

Initiated by our School and the R20 Foundation, this chair will support project leaders exclusively within the African territory during the structuring phase through training, capacity building, and access to knowledge.

Societal challenges are at the heart of the School’s concerns, which has been present in Oran since 2016 and in Abidjan in 2018 with its Advance Master in Territories, Technology, and Financing of Innovative Project Portfolios for the Green Economy. This excellence training offer linked to the chair will be deployed in several French-speaking African countries.
