The first meeting took place on Monday, May 13 at Maison du Parc. It brought together lecturer-researchers, PhD students, entrepreneurs, and staff members around inspiring initiatives.
Organized by Sébastien Saunier, lecturer-researcher, and Victor André, ICM student on a gap year, this exchange brought together around twenty people from diverse backgrounds.
“The diversity of perspectives for collectively envisioning the future“
It enabled participants to meet, discuss their backgrounds, and share their personal experiences. As Victor André explains: ” The idea is to break down the walls between worlds that interact too little or not enough. I hope this first meeting will spark a positive dynamic driven by collective intelligence and the convergence of innovative ideas. I am convinced that we all have something to gain by creating connections among ourselves.”
Several speakers pitched their backgrounds and answered questions during this event:
- Patrick Ganster, lecturer-researcher and entrepreneur in basketry
- Flavius Timis, student and president of the Amibes association
- Jonathan Villot, lecturer-researcher and founder of URBS (Urban Retrofit Business Services)
- Carole Claudinon, staff member at Mines Saint-Étienne involved in the solidarity grocery store
- Anthony Nakhoul, postdoctoral researcher and entrepreneur (Hytex)
- Lola Bozon and Tino Joubert, students and entrepreneurs (Pahapa)
A buffet prepared by the Gour’Mines association concluded the event and delighted the guests.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, from 12 PM to 2 PM, at a location yet to be determined.
