Junior Mines Provence (JMP) regained its Junior Enterprise status during the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises. After losing its status due to handover issues, JMP undertook a complete overhaul of its image and processes. These efforts were rewarded with the recognition of its Junior Enterprise status by the presidents of the Junior Enterprises of France.
This status thus guarantees the quality of our services and our involvement within the Junior-Enterprise movement.
Camille Gilbert, President of Junior Mines Provence
A new stage in the Junior Enterprise’s development

Founded in 2005 under the name M-Gate, Junior Mines Provence (JMP) is the Junior Enterprise of the Georges Charpak Provence campus. It had already obtained Junior Enterprise status and had been part of the selective list of the 30 best Junior Enterprises in France for several years. In 2021, following handover issues, it was downgraded to Junior-Initiative status. Refusing to admit defeat, successive teams worked tirelessly to regain this status.
After a complete overhaul of their brand image and processes, Camille Gilbert, President of JMP, and Jean-Baptiste Espinasse, Vice-President, presented their work. They defended their efforts of several years before the presidents of the 200 Junior Enterprises of France during the General Assembly of Presidents of the National Confederation of Junior Enterprises (CNJE). Subsequently, they voted in favor of Junior Mines Provence (JMP) regaining its brand status. For JMP, this is a “significant achievement.” Its president, Camille Gilbert, wishes to highlight and thank the role played by the CNJE’s Consulting and Development divisions. This success is also due to the previous mandate. A success to be confirmed in the years to come with future mandates.
Junior Enterprises at Mines Saint-Etienne
Thus, Mines Saint-Etienne, through its two campuses, has two Junior Enterprises: Mines Études et Projet (Saint-Etienne campus) and Junior Mines Provence (Georges Charpak Provence campus). They recently renewed their partnership for exchanges of best practices and advice. A success due to the unwavering involvement of students year after year.
The School’s Junior Enterprises enable students to carry out projects for various clients, involving students from the School. They allow students to develop their skills by undertaking concrete missions.
