26 students from Brazil, Pakistan, Colombia, and Nigeria met on Monday, September 1, for the start of the Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Engineering in “Multiphase Systems for Sustainable Engineering.”
This program focuses on multiphase systems consisting of grains, bubbles, or droplets, such as aerosols, pastes, powders, or foams. Its ambition is to train a new generation of industrial experts, engineers, and researchers to lead the chemical industry into a new era based on sustainable processes, the circular economy, and the full potential of digital tools. It benefits from the expertise of the SPIN Center, which has coordinated this international track for two years alongside the Polytechnic University of Turin and the Technical University of Munich.
Various activities were offered to the students, including integration workshops and a visit to the Saint-Etienne Mine Museum. For the upcoming semester, courses will be taught in English, and upon completion of the program, students will be awarded three degrees from the different institutions attended.
We welcome the new arrivals in French and in the 18 different languages that characterize the diversity of this cohort.
