The Henri Fayol Institute was particularly pleased to invite businesses, industrialists, and socio-economic stakeholders on May 22nd to a meeting dedicated to innovation and the transition to a circular economy. It was a great success with over 80 participants.
The DEFII seminar, Challenge-Business-Fayol-Industry-Innovation, focused this year on “Digital Transformation and Circular Economy: Complementary Levers for Innovation”: testimonials, a round table, and thematic workshops punctuated the event.
The meeting opened with a presentation of the expertise developed within Mines Saint-Étienne, followed by testimonials from companies on their experience in digital transition and transition through the circular economy.
Over 80 participants were able to exchange and debate, particularly during two workshops dedicated to artificial intelligence and the transition to a circular economy. The School welcomed a majority of VSEs/SMEs from the Loire region and the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, as well as several organizations such as PRIMETALS, Entreprises pour l’Environnement, SOLYSTIC, MACEO, Fab-Lab du Pays d’Aix, Pôle Eco-conception, UIMM-Loire, CIRIDD, Agence AURA entreprise.
These fruitful discussions continued during a round table based on converging viewpoints on digital transition and the transition to a circular economy: complementarities, convergences or divergences, and conditions for success.
The meeting concluded with a convivial moment around 6 thematic stands offered by the Henri Fayol Institute:
- Industry of the Future: Steering production systems in the industry of the future: implementation of decision-making tools and equipment.
- Territory Platform: Enabling private and public stakeholders to manage territorial issues in an integrated way through the analysis and processing of geolocated data.
