On June 16, 2025, in Berlin, the CoDEMO consortium presented the first international award for corporate transition toward Society 5.0. The objective: to highlight the innovative capacity of European students in addressing human, sustainability, and resilience challenges.
Three PRICE projects were selected to represent Mines Saint-Étienne:
- The Ecolo Planteur project by Mathis Boutault (ICM FUSION), which centers on a game to raise environmental awareness among young children.
- The LiloGen project by Maya Essomba and Leticia Alcantra (ICM), which aims to optimize local hydrogen production from solar energy.
- The RunSafe project by Enzo Bordeaux and Oscar Bréant (ICM), which promotes a human-centric, sustainable, and resilient approach to injury prevention for runners.
Students from five European countries defended their projects before an international jury composed of academic and socio-economic partners. This inspiring and creative day concluded with the awards ceremony.
Two projects led by Mines Saint-Étienne students were honored: RunSafe was ranked first and LiloGen took second place. The students’ talent was rewarded with prizes of €1,000 and €500, respectively. They proudly carried their trophies, designed and manufactured by Hubert Taxil from the FabLab.
Congratulations to Enzo Bordeaux, Oscar Bréant, Maya Essomba, and Leticia Alcantra, as well as to the PRICE project team, Sébastien Saunier and Julie Blanc, who supported the students in reaching the top of the rankings.
