An inspiring evening organized by French Tech Saint-Étienne Lyon

Mines Saint-Étienne hosted an inspiring afterwork event on May 14, organized in partnership with the DeepTech commission of French Tech Saint-Étienne Lyon. A valuable gathering for students, startups, researchers, and economic stakeholders from the region.

Overview, testimonials, and experience sharing

The evening began with a presentation of the DeepTech Overview, introduced by Rémi De Almeida and Catherine Daumas. It continued with feedback from three DeepTech entrepreneurs who sincerely shared the behind-the-scenes of their projects and lessons from their journeys:

  • Félix Balmonet, CEO of Chat3D
  • Dennis Diefenbach, CEO of The QA Company
  • Pauline Chanin Lambert, CTO of Wallace Technologies

Their common message: listen to your customers, accept uncertainty, and don’t hesitate to pivot to adjust your project to reality.

A dynamic ecosystem

A convivial moment then allowed for strengthening ties between the various stakeholders of the local DeepTech ecosystem: startups from Saint-Étienne and Lyon, company representatives, school staff, students, and members of the French Tech network.

Among the partner organizations present: PULSALYS, Saint-Étienne Métropole, Greenpact, HUB612, ORATIO Avocats, INPI France, Orange, and many others.

A school at the heart of innovation

By hosting this event, Mines Saint-Étienne confirms its central role in the development of DeepTech in our region: as a place of knowledge, a catalyst for innovation, and a privileged partner for project leaders.
