On January 8, Mines Saint-Étienne and the EHESP (School of Advanced Studies in Public Health) signed a partnership agreement during the “Decision-making in the digital era” event held at the PariSanté campus.
The objective of this partnership is to work together over a five-year period to accelerate the digital transformation of the healthcare system. This is a shared goal for our schools, both of which are experts in public health and new technologies.
For over 30 years, Mines Saint-Étienne has been training healthcare professionals at its Center for Engineering and Health (CIS), located on the Saint-Étienne university hospital campus. Through this partnership, the school will offer EHESP modules dedicated to AI in healthcare, decision support, and health systems engineering. This is a significant contribution to the expertise of EHESP, a leading public service school that trains and supports healthcare executives and experts in France and abroad.

Combining our knowledge means sustainably improving the quality of care and organizational efficiency. As Jacques Fayolle points out, “healthcare sector leaders must be able to understand these” digital and technological “developments.” Isabelle Richard, Director of EHESP, adds that training tomorrow’s leaders in digital health is “a vital challenge.”
This partnership agreement thus aligns with Mines Saint-Étienne’s long-term positioning for the health of the future.
