Congratulations to Bernard Guy, Professor Emeritus in the PEG department of the SPIN center at Mines Saint-Etienne, who received the “Arthur Iberall” Gold Medal at the Thermodynamics 2.0 congress, IAISAE (International Association for the Integration of Science and Engineering). The congress, originally scheduled to take place in Massachusetts, USA, was ultimately held online in June 2020.

The IAISAE honorary distinctions recognize exceptional achievements in interdisciplinary research and teaching. The awards and prizes are open to all members of the scientific community contributing to the integration of natural and social sciences. The nomination and selection procedure, involving selection committees appointed by IAISAE, ensures their high standards and prestige.
