The creation of the Loire-based association was announced at a gala evening held on Tuesday 27 June at the Maison du Parc.

The aim of the new organisation, chaired by Gaëlle Rousseau and affiliated with the French National Federation of Business Angels, is to bring together a local network of investors who wish to finance high-potential innovative projects. Most of these donors are former business leaders who have sold their company. They have funds that they make available to an entrepreneurial project deemed relevant and promising.

Present at the event, the start-up Wallace Technologies presented its business during a three-minute pitch. An opportunity for the young Clermont-based company to showcase the results of its research into alternative solutions for electricity storage using heat exchangers—and, who knows, to attract the attention of a potential “business angel”.

Member of TEAM Mines Saint-Étienne

Wallace Technologies has been supported since September 2023 by the TEAM Mines Saint-Étienne incubator. It works closely with the Centre des Science des Matériaux et des Structures (SMS). The start-up can therefore rely on the School’s expertise and resources to develop and innovate under the best possible conditions.
