Back-to-School Press Conference: Continuation of the Industry 4.0 Strategy

On Tuesday, September 21, Mines Saint-Etienne held its back-to-school press conference from the Campus Région du numérique in Lyon. Pascal Ray, Director of the School, Philippe Lalevée, Director of the Georges Charpak Provence campus, Krzysztof Wolski, Deputy Director of Education, David Delafosse, Deputy Director in charge of Research, and Eric Duflot, Director of Partnerships and Innovation, spoke about Industry 4.0 around Mines Saint-Etienne’s “factory-schools” and WAAM technology. The topics of the Internet of Things, Healthcare of the Future, the new space dedicated to entrepreneurial innovation, and the School’s international presence were also addressed. It was also an opportunity to unveil major projects for the coming years.

Following the conference, the journalists in attendance visited the DIWII technology platform, co-managed by the School.
