Researchers’ Night 2019 in Saint-Étienne on September 27: the first Saint-Étienne edition will be festive, immersive, welcoming, and perhaps starry!
“Telling science, imagining the future”: 140 scientific activities and 4 science villages will be offered during the Science Festival from October 4 to 13.
The Gardanne science village, from October 9 to 12 on the GC Provence campus, a multi-event venue, will be complemented by the CMP opening day.
Researchers’ Night 2019 in Saint-Étienne on September 27
The event kicks off the new season of La Rotonde and its 20th anniversary!
Thanks to the diversity of themes, this event will offer you an original way to discover the work and innovative projects of researchers from higher education institutions in the area.
Interrogation sessions, identikit portraits, a major national participatory experiment, a live radio broadcast, a show, fascinating staging… the evening, under the banner of mystery and investigation, will take place at the Grande Usine Créative (Manufacture district of Saint-Étienne) from 6 PM.

Science Festival 2019 from October 4 to 13, Saint-Étienne & Loire: 28th edition
This year’s national theme, “Telling science, imagining the future,” will cover all scientific fields through a multitude of original initiatives offered free of charge over 9 days.
With 80 organizations involved and 4 science villages organized for the general public and schools, join us from October 4 to 13, 2019, to participate in 140 scientific events and activities in the Loire department!

A science village and an open day in Gardanne
Workshops, games, exhibitions, activities… the programme for school groups and the general public promises to be rich. The student associations IlluMines, AREM and ISMIN students will once again be mobilised through their exciting outreach activities alongside many organisations and the campus teacher-researchers.
The science village will offer 4 days of activities around many themes from October 9 to 12.
On Saturday, October 12, the Open Day on the G. Charpak Provence Campus will offer the general public an opportunity to discover the activities and areas of excellence with the teams from the Centre of Microelectronics in Provence.
