Biliplan, a startup supported by the TEAM @Mines Saint-Étienne incubator, leverages the expertise of the Centre of Microelectronics in Provence to offer an innovative solution and facilitate planning processes to improve the performance of companies in the agri-food, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods industries.

68% of companies that implement S&OP, Sales & operations planning (a strategic operations planning process), fail to reap the promised benefits, according to Gartner’s supply chain maturity qualification system.

The collaborative web application with a simple design unites supply chain, finance, sales, marketing, and industrial departments around a common operational strategy.

Various planning scenarios are proposed by an AI developed at the Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering, enabling profitable, real-time, end-to-end decision-making.

Biliplan relies on the expertise of the Manufacturing Sciences and Logistics (SFL) department, led by Nabil Absi. A group of 8 students is working on the development of a POOC as part of their 2nd-year industrial project.”

This simple and comprehensive system was developed by two ISMIN engineers, Marguerite Raffoul, class of 2013, specializing in supply chain IS, and Olivier Bonjour, class of 2012, specializing in development and IT security. It enables industries of all sizes to improve their customer service level and reduce their stock levels. Employees can dedicate more time to high-value-added tasks such as product launch planning, optimization of supply sources, etc.

The developed prototype is currently being tested with agri-food manufacturers. The startup has launched a fundraising campaign in France and abroad.
