A startup dedicated to cognitive health, driven by AI and human expertise
TEAM, the incubator at Mines Saint-Étienne, announces the arrival of a promising new startup: ADMENTIA, founded by Alain Long Nguyen, a PhD in artificial intelligence who defended his thesis at the school in 2024. The young company is now supported and hosted on the Saint-Étienne campus.

🎯 ADMENTIA emerged from a clear realization: faced with the resurgence of cognitive disorders, healthcare professionals require more effective tools to assess and monitor their patients’ cognitive status. The startup offers an innovative solution based on a hardware device (dual-screen computer) combined with MARCO, an observational artificial intelligence capable of analyzing behaviors to provide a precise, rapid, and personalized assessment of cognitive functions.
💡 At the intersection of AI, health, and human-machine interaction, ADMENTIA’s multidisciplinary team combines technical expertise and clinical acumen:
- Alain Long Nguyen – PhD in AI
- Max Bayle – Medical Device Specialist
- Jonathan Arnaud – Medico-Social Expert
- Dimitri Delacroix – PhD in Human-Machine Interaction
- Rénald Gaboriau – Psychologist, Information Science Specialist
By joining the TEAM incubator, ADMENTIA aims to accelerate its development, clinical validation, and market deployment. The choice of Mines Saint-Étienne is also based on the desire to build lasting synergies with research departments, particularly around projects combining AI, ergonomics, and health.
🔍 With its “Human First” approach, the startup also aims to contribute to collaborative projects, enrich the school’s curriculum, and foster applied research initiatives.
