June 15 marked the launch of La Rotonde’s anniversary season: 19 events will follow! Exhibition, theater, researchers’ night, science villages… the team will unveil its programme over time.
The first stone of the Explora eco-science park in Saint-Étienne was laid on June 29: La Rotonde is part of this ambitious scientific and educational project.
Science challenges, light painting, water rockets, Arts/Science installation… the first event organized by La Rotonde was a great success with over 200 visitors!
The public was able to discover and admire the Arts/Science installation by Scenocosme artists… “Akousmaflore: sensitive and interactive musical plants”

The first stone of the future Explora eco-science park in Saint-Étienne was laid on June 29.
This future venue, literally dedicated to “doing science,” will be backed by an outdoor scientific culture park in the heart of Parc Couriot in Saint-Étienne: La Rotonde is very proud to be part of the adventure! Explora will complement its science outreach activities.

The first stone was laid by the Mayor of Saint-Étienne, Gaël Perdriau, Samy Kefi-Jérôme, Vice-President of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, Guillaume Desbrosse, Director of La Rotonde, and Gilles Artigues, First Deputy Mayor of Saint-Étienne.
