The Research Department hosted a welcome session for PhD students newly enrolled in a doctoral program at our School.

Held in person on the Aix-Marseille-Provence Campus and via video conference in Saint-Étienne, the event brought together thirty new PhD students on Wednesday, January 15.

It was an opportunity for participants to learn about the School’s operations and its ecosystem, its doctoral policy, pedagogical expectations, and to ask questions regarding the progress of their future high-level academic journey.

The successive presentations by Jean-Paul Viricelle, Deputy Director of Research, Jérôme Molimard, research professor, Nadia El Mrabet, Professor at CMP, Thierry Djenizian, Head of the FEL Department (CMP), and Elias Kharbouche’s experience sharing provided precise answers to their questions.

The PhD students also took advantage of this exchange session to present their thesis topic.

Each year, in January, the Research Department takes the time to welcome and inform future PhDs joining our School.
