  • Biography

    During twenty years of academic research Dr Serris tried to work with industrial teams on real industrial projects. Involved in several collaborative works in pharmaceutical, nuclear, petrochemical and cement industry, he is working in two research field, acoustic emission and powder compaction. He is a member of EWGAE (European working group on acoustic emission) and he participates and gives conferences in the international congress every two-year.

    After several years of supervisor of industrial project for students of Mines Saint-Etienne, Dr Serris is recently at the head of the master of science in Process Engineering & Industrial Energy Efficiency (Msc PEI2E). This international program is dedicated for students interested in applications for Eco-efficient Industrial processes: to produce and use cleaner, safer, and efficient energy. This Master of Chemical Engineering is also partly focused on the study of industrial processes in relation with solid reactions (particles, powders, granular and porous media): studies ranging from micro to macro scale “From particles to processes”.
