Biography

Olivier Potin holds a MBA and a PhD in Microlectronics. He started his career as a software engineer. Then he was co-founder and technical manager of Oridao with the aim of developping cryptographic embedded RFID solutions before turning to research in test domain. In 2014, he joined the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne as Associate Professor.
His research interests include side-channel attacks and hardware countermeasures development, error-detecting code against fault injection and CoDesign approach to improve security.

Teaching areas

Dr Potin coordinates the teaching activities in Embedded Systems and Industrial Computing Systems. He also teaches the basis of Digital Electronic, C, Hardware Description Language, Processor architecture and FPGA CoDesign.
