    My research activity consists in developing an original interdisciplinary expertise between organic and inorganic chemistry. This research is dedicated to the development of methodologies and theories in order to improve the knowledge in the field of interactions between organic and inorganic materials. More specially, I study the interactions between hydraulic binders and organic admixtures, bio-based aggregates or micro-organisms. In the field of admixture/binder interactions, the main objective is to correlate the chemical structure of an admixture with the modification of the binder properties, such as hydration process, rheology, water retention… More recently, I focus my researches on alternative binders and low carbon footprint binders.
    In the field of micro-organisms/binder interaction, the objective is to understand how and why micro-organisms are able to develop on cementitious materials and how is it possible to limit their growth.
