Biographie
Khaled Medini is currently an Associate Professor of Industrial Engineering at Mines Saint-Etienne, Fayol Institute. He received his PhD from Ecole Centrale de Nantes in 2013. Khaled Medini holds a MSc and an Engineer degrees in Industrial Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lille, 2010, and Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis, 2009, respectively. His research interests relate to enterprise modelling, decision making support, and modelling and simulation, with the following application domains, mass customization, product-service systems (PSS), and sustainability assessment. Khaled Medini has been involved in European (FP7 and Erasmus+), national and regional research projects about PSS and mass customization. His teaching areas include production management and computer-aided production management, enterprise modelling and simulation, mass customization and variety management, decision aid for PSS engineering and assessment. He led the setup and accreditation of an advanced master diploma: Industrial Transition Management. Khaled Medini has been serving as a reviewer for several journals such as IJPR, CIRP JMST, IJPLM, Systems. In 2016, Khaled Medini became a Research Affiliate in the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP) Network.
