Biography

Julien De Benedittis defended his Ph.D. dissertation in Grenoble in 2016. His research focus on inter-organizational relationships within clusters, and more specifically on the transition in-between temporary organizations, ie how the partners from a collaborative project manage to capitalize on the knowledge generated within the project and build a new collaborative R&D project. Since his arrival at Mines Saint-Étienne, Julien De Benedittis got involved in research centred on another type of transition: the digital transition of SMEs. The Innovation Management Department at Mines Saint-Étienne aspires to highlight the opportunities and obstacles SMEs’ CEOs associate with this digital transition.

Julien De Benedittis is part of a national research project funded by the ANR (ANR ACIC) within which he wrote several conference papers as well as an article that is currently under review in a scientific journal with colleagues from Grenoble University. The paper presents a new research method based on a serious game.
