This talk introduces a hybrid modelling strategy that combines Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Population Balance Models (PBM), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance process design and optimization. The integration of mechanistic and data-driven approaches enables efficient identification of kinetic parameters and scalable solutions across diverse systems. The presentation will highlight key applications and discuss the transformative potential of this framework for next-generation chemical and process engineering.
