  • Biographie

    Vincent Augusto est un membre permanent du corps professoral de Mines Saint-Étienne, Centre Ingénierie et Santé. Ses domaines de recherche sont l’évaluation de performance et l’ingénierie des systèmes de soins (génie industriel, simulation), l’optimisation et le pilotage des systèmes de soins (recherche opérationnelle), les données de santé et l’aide à la décision médicale (fouille de processus, apprentissage automatique). Diplômé en ingénierie informatique en 2005, sa thèse soutenue en 2008 portait sur la modélisation, l’analyse et le pilotage de flux en milieu hospitalier à l’aide d’UML et des réseaux de Petri (spécialité Génie Industriel). Il a soutenu son Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches en 2016 sur la thématique de l’ingénierie des territoires de soins. Il était professeur invité au CIRRELT (Centre interuniversitaire de recherche sur les réseaux d’entreprise, la logistique et le transport), Université Laval, Québec, Canada, en 2009 et 2015. Il est co-responsable du living lab MedTechLab de Mines Saint-Etienne qui met en oeuvre l’approche design, expérimentation et innovation dans le domaine de l’ingénierie et santé en lien avec ses thématiques de recherche. Il est directeur du Centre Ingénierie et Santé de Mines Saint-Étienne depuis janvier 2020 (70 personnes).
