  • Biography

    Thierry Garaix is an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Management at the Center for Health Engineering of the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne
    (France), and member of the research laboratory LIMOS UMR CNRS 6158 (Clermont-Ferrand, France), since 2011. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Research and Geomatics from the Université d’Avignon et des Pays de Vaucluse (France), in 2007. His research interests focus on the optimization of logistics and production systems, in particular, on vehicle routing and scheduling problems. Many of them are in the health care context like home health care and emergency department planning.
